2025-2026 SY Fees
If you do not have a MySchoolBucks (MSB) account set up for your student, please use this guide to set up an account. Whether your account is new or established, please be sure that your email is correct and notification settings are turned on.
VALE is part of Douglas County's public schools, so we do not charge tuition. We strive to eliminate or subsidize as many fees as possible, but we do have a few fees that are approved by the BOE. What to expect:
- Instructional Material Fee: $40 All students: To recover part of the cost of textbooks, supplies, and consumable materials.
- VALE Polo Shirt: $20 This polo will be required for field experiences; the fee covers the cost of ordering the shirts.
- CTE Intro to Entrepreneurship: $35 This is a FRESHMAN level class.
- CTE Business Graphic Design: $40 This is a SOPHOMORE level class.
- CTE Entrepreneurship: $30 This is a JUNIOR level class.
- Graduation Fee: $30 This is for seniors only and covers the cost of ordering diplomas.
- Stone Canyon Immersion Week Experience - $115 For day trips (9th, 10th, and 11th) graders
- Stone Canyon Immersion Week Overnight Experience - $147 For the senior overnight experience
- Dissection Fee: Actual Cost If any dissections are planned for science class, a fee will be invoiced to your account to cover the cost of materials.
- Parking Permit: $25 per semester, $50 for the year If your student will be driving to school, they will need to register their vehicle for a VALE parking permit. This will be available for purchase on MySchoolBucks and be picked up from the front desk. A copy of current car insurance and the student's driver's license will be required before a permit is released to the student.
- Extracurricular Activities Budgeted cost for supplies and staff extra-responsibility pay, split evenly between students.
- $24 if your student loses their assigned Chromebook charger
AP Exams and club fees are an additional cost, dependent upon your student's choice to participate.
If your family is experiencing a financial hardship, please apply for fees to be waived by clicking here.
Please note: While breakfast and lunch are offered to all students for free, this application also applies toward all school-related activity fees.
