Application Process

Every prospective student and parent must attend a VALE TOUR 26-27 as a first step. Our tours offer a glimpse into our unique, small-by-design high school where trust, purpose, and real-world learning guide everything we do. You’ll get to see our spaces, hear from school leader(s), meet current students, and learn more about how VALE might be the right fit for your family.

*Please note,  families must attend a tour prior to completing an interest form (Step 2) or requesting a pre-enrollment dialogue meeting (Step 3).

At the tour, you will get a QR code to complete an interest form. If you are interested in VALE, you can complete the form and once it's submitted, a member of VALE's Project Management Team will reach out to you with the steps to set up a pre-enrollment dialogue meeting.

During the Pre-Enrollment Dialogue, both the student and family will meet with members of VALE's Leadership Team and participate in a discussion that will include more information about the learning experience and opportunities at VALE. A student pitch, along with focused questioning and a specially designed card sort activity are also part of that dialogue meeting aligning passion, learning style, and multiple intelligence, helping to build a Learner Portrait for each student.

Following our collaborative decision-making process after the Pre-Enrollment Dialogue, students and families will be contacted by the VALE Leadership Team. If the Leadership Team, student, and family collectively believe the student will thrive at VALE, a formal or conditional welcome letter will be sent.
